FS21 Fall Season Update - Heading into the Holidays

FS21 Fall Update

Michael Yanke, FS21 Baseball CEO/GM

The Fall baseball season is coming to an end as the holiday month approaches. All 3 FS21 teams had an exceptional period of development, growth and success.

FS21 Stars 2025

The 15u/2025 team is wrapping up their busy Fall schedule. For almost half of the season, they played “up” in 16u including two 16u Perfect Game events. This team is loaded with arms, which has played a big role in their wins, but more importantly, pitchers were limited in pitch counts. The idea behind this was to end the season with strong, lively arms ready for their high school tryouts. In almost every tournament, a pitcher did not throw more than 75 pitches overall. As we head into break, all 15 players on the roster are healthy and ready for their upcoming high school season.

Some key achievements of the season include:

· Obtaining the #2 seed of 76 in the 2021 Perfect Game Fall National Championship by only giving up 1 run total in 3 pool games. Elite 8 finisher.

· Finishing as the #3 seed of 26 in the 16u Perfect Game Veterans Day Classic giving up 5 runs in pool play, Bracket Qualifier.

· 2021 Prospect Wire Fall Classic 15u Champions, undefeated in tournament.

· Solid 2021 Arizona Fall Classic Freshman Classic performance, 3-1, giving up 6 total runs in 4 games.

· Team averages – 2.5 ERA, .320 batting average

The 2025 team’s overall record was 24-6-1. Of the 6 loses, only 2 were against other strong 15u teams as the remaining loses were against 16u competition.

Our 15u squad will continue limited practices and games through the holiday season as there is a remaining Perfect Game tournament in January. We’ll be keeping our guys fresh without putting too much strain on their arms to keep them prepared for high school training camps and tryouts beginning January 1, 2022.

FS21 Stars 2026

Our 14u/2026 team put together a strong Fall season. With exception to Perfect Game tournaments, the team played “up” in 15u for all other local tournaments. The team has some big bats which creates challenges for opposing pitchers as pitching around players isn’t an option. This team also has 4 80+ MPH arms from the mound making them a rare 14u squad with that many big arms. As the team heads into the 6-week break from the holiday season, they do so with a healthy roster eager to kick things back off in 2022.

Key achievements of the season include:

· 2021 Perfect Game Veterans Day Classic Champions, 7-0 record, only gave up 10 runs all tournament

· Baseball Showcase 15u Mr. October Champions, undefeated and only gave up 5 runs with a 4-0 record

· Baseball Showcase 15u Southwest World Series, 2nd place, #1 seed in pool play, gave up 8 runs total in 4 games finishing 3-1

· Team averages - .330 batting average, 1.7 ERA

The 2026 team finished the Fall season 17-4-1.

The spring season kicks off in mid-January and runs through the end of school in May. Notable tournaments on the books include Perfect Game in Vegas, the SportStream Invitational, Triple Crown Championships, and USSSA Super NIT.

FS21 Stars 2028 (12u)

The FS21 12u team has 4 tournaments left on the Fall season which runs until the end of the 2021 year. As multiple tournament champions, the team has experienced a lot of success in their first season wearing the FS21 royal blue and black. We’re excited to see this group develop as they continue to develop for high school in the years ahead.

Key achievements of the season include:

· 2021 12u USSSA Fall State Champions (Majors)

· USSSA Fall Classic and Veterans Classic Champions

· 2021 Perfect Game Fall National 12u Champions

· Team averages - .431 batting average, 4.3 ERA

The team’s overall record is 24-3-1, ranked #1 by USSSA nationally, and they prepare to compete for the USSSA Thanksgiving 12u NIT this coming weekend and traveling to California in December.

The spring season will be just as busy, as the team prepares to head to Cooperstown at the end of May for Cooperstown Dreams Park in Cooperstown, NY.
